In that little story I wrote about Brian being sick. RedEye mentions that the soup with glowing fungus in is an old family recipe. When I wrote it, that was meant to be just nonsense, but then I got to thinking maybe that’s what his family did since glowing fungus is such a useful ingredient in so many medicines, farming it would be a fairly decent way of making a living.
I expanded on it since my headcanons know no bounds. Trimmed out a bit where Brian is just being a shit about mushrooms. RedEye tells this story as a bargaining tool and also because he likes the sound of his own voice, but you already know that!

Loved the Mod from @catastrotaffy for RaiderRadio !! I didn’t take any extra pics because I want people to explore for themselves. I didn’t take a pic of RedEye because shortly after my exploring started, He went to sleep and I thought that would have been rude to wake him up or snap a pic.
It was a fun set up and I had a blast running around.And in no way did Val go in any rooms that said do not enter nor place a key back where she would have found it if she’d taken it at all. I mean, no the look on Brian’s Face would have been three times more Brian after not seeing what was not in that other locked room. 🤣 Obviously, these need to go on the IG template later… of the room she didn’t go into…

Side Adventure
With a lot of talk about Gage and RedEye, I went back to Nuka, started digging and got to RedEye.
WTF wow ReadEye deserved better. I would have gone insane with that speaker. So headcanon time because my heartstrings got a lil tugged from all the Gage fans too.
- Val and Johan were not the ones in our AU that cleared NukaWorld. (They really weren’t.) Val never heard him on the radio there so she would have liked the Story of Atlas the first time. But not the 9th… Val never met Gage.
- I always head-canoned Gage lived somehow because I liked seeing peoples OCs with him. I assumed one of the freed merchant slaves maybe repaid an act of kindness gage showed or something and helped him I don’t know. Whatever. he’s alive.
- RedEye does RedEye stuff still. Honestly had Val found him locked in that craptastic place, she’d fucking let him out of that OMFG insane. But RedEye will ALWAYS be with Brian to me doing their thing, having their adventures… NukaWorld or Not.
- Cupid likes RedEye and Travis

This is outfuckinstanding! 😂😂 This is going down in headcanon permanently for me. Honestly I tore that place a new one looking for his studio, so this is all kinds of awsome.
Y’all think it’s adorable when Brian gets picked up and carried but what if it was the other way around.

I had a smol & tol ref I wanted to use in my gesture practice warm up and immediately thought of @catastrotaffy ‘s Brian and RedEye. Okay no one can do them as good as Taffy does. I’ll try again in 50 years when I’m better. I love this pair so much though.
