Fire and Ice.  Opposites in so many
ways.  But their friendship endured, despite distance and time.   And
on this day, Wyheree and Jenai enjoyed a rare moment together, piled
into the back of a sleek, ice-adorned sleigh.  The temperature in
RhyDin dipped below freezing, and while this invigorated the Ice
Mage, Wyheree knew her friend suffered in the cold.

With a merry laugh, Wyheree gently
nudged Jenai, re-wrapping a long, fluffy, hand-knitted orange and brown scarf about her neck.

“Are you warm enough, my friend?  I
can fetch more blankets if you have need..”

Jenai’s giggles floated from deep
within the wool.  “I’m good now – if you bundle me up anymore, I
might melt you!”

A sharp whistle, and the sleigh lurched
forward, bells jingling in the snowy air as the horses tossed their
heads and picked up their pace – delicate crystals and mist
trailing behind them.  Spending time with her dear friend was a
present Wyheree treasured – a gift more priceless than nobles or
gems.
