OC Situation: Ashoken takes a seat at the noodle stand in DC. Directly to her right, she sees a young woman (Valentina) happily sharing a bowl of noodles with what is obviously her k9 companion (Cupid) …

helloaschefire:

Ashoken thinks tactically all the time. She seats herself where she can get the best view of the market district. The noodle stand, being central, is not ideal. No place to put her back, so she’s angled, checking Valentina out of the corner of her shaded eye. Running scenarios through her head, planning her reactions if this happened, if that happened while she feeds some iguana to a stray cat there. The dog goes first. Possibly use Valentina as a hostage. She doesn’t see Valentina as a particular threat but she doesn’t count the woman out. Checking everything out, while she orders noodles. Waiting on Bobbi No Nose, no doubt. Things ain’t free in the Commonwealth.

Valentina would more than likely be too happy watching the mess of a dog eating noddles to notice more than there was someone next to her. Which I am sure there would be a reprimand in the next few minutes for…  She’d find Ashoken intimidating at first glance, she wouldn’t fit in at all in what Valentina expects to see in DC. But she can’t be all bad since she seems to be feeding one of the city strays. She’d still give her a polite smile, though short-lived before heading off to the words that float around the bend, “You didn’t feed her with your chopsticks, did you, Val? Eww.”

Of course, Val did not use her chopsticks… this time.

Thank you @helloaschefire !! Loved it! feel better babe!

OC Asks

It was sent Dm but I wanted to share my answers here real quick. Thank you for the ask @helloaschefire xoxoxoxxoxoxo!

19. Something that makes your OC cry without fail?

A dead cat or dog (not mutant) She knows it happens but still. Depending on whom is with her or the events of the day or circumstances, she may cry where they can’t see and only sniffle or an all out water works.

23. What is your OC’s first memory?

A very early autumn morning. Looking up to her father before they crossed the street. He was so tall, and she so small, she could only see the sun dancing around his shoulders. It took her whole hand to wrap around one of his fingers, but she remembers she held on to that finger for all her life. He was taking her to pick up morning pastries to surprise Mama where the ladies were always no kind and had a special pastry “specially prepared for petite mademoiselle’, they would say. Now she knows it was never a surprise, mother always knew and of course so did the ladies.

44. Can your OC sleep if there’s any kind of light?

Yep! She may not like it and may shove her face in a pillow, but she fears the dark much more.
