My headcanon for Sara and Reyes is seriously full lol. She’d so used to hiding the hurt and worry behind jokes, sarcasm to keep everyone’s spirits high. A defense mechanism she and Scott learned well dealing with their Mother’s illness. Reyes adored her from the beginning, but knew he loved her the night she was fully vulnerable and cried in her sleep.

He’d never tell her, just pull her hair back from her tear damp cheek while she drifted back to deep sleep. 

  • Vidal matched her spontaneous spirit and a romance quickly ignited.
  • She feels more focused on the mission, without having a Romantic interest on board.
  • Reyes is Portuguese and S.American heritage.
  • Sara is African American and Spanish heritage
  • She doesn’t have to use the translator to speak to Reyes, Ellen encouraged speaking Spanish in the house.
  • He calls her princesa when alone.
  • As much as she wants to trust him 100%, she knows he has interest to protect and she has her own as well.
  • She’s not been 100% forgoing with everything with him either.

The Ladies of the N7′s Graduating Class  2176 stop to have their picture taken together in Rio de Janeiro after ceremonies. The selection being small, it was  question they would become close friends. Each looking forward to their new duty assignments, they would promise to keep in touch often. They promised to meet up in 10 years at that very spot. It’d never happen. 

I was listening to the complete ME soundtrack, when working on these lovies for friends, Ladies of N7 ready to make a difference for Humanity and the Galaxy… the end song came on and I died. As I looked at “MY” Shep… her  friends would never come home. She would never come home. They would never see each other again.

Who died in the attacks in 1?
Who gave their life in 2?
Who was in London? Vancouver? 
Who looked up the moment the exact moment Shepard made the final choice? Or was there no one left of the original squad? They’re all dead?

It was with that I felt the lump in my throat, my nose started to run, and the screen when blurry. headcanon hurts the heart. I instantly hated myself. I wanted to write it but couldn’t bring myself to.
