Hi @mrninjapineapple ! I like to think I’m not melting “as fast” as last week. We have our A.C. working finally but the humidity is along with our wonky heat is another. I have a new miny desk fan to help so at least I can get some work done… when I peel myself up off the floor that is.

While Valentina takes longer TO order… she can never make up her mind or remember what she wanted to try last time. Her orders get a little long in the weird way she’ll try and order half this, half that, and sub this for that. Johan is simple, meat and potato kind of guy. So Val is longer there.
Duncan, on the other hand, is a very picky eater and a vegetarian. When he does go out (which he hates doing) to eat the list is usually much longer than Val’s with 86 this and 86 that. Duncan will also ask the details of the food before ordering. Ashoken is not a big eater or really into food so, Duncan!
LOL, I had to answer this as soon as I got back home with a doodle. This was actually something me @helloaschefire had talked about! I mean in length! HairCare in the Wasteland! We talk about some weird things in that place. Anyways…
Valentina’s hair is high maintenance af. No shocker, I know. Her hygiene overall is a big ordeal for her. She will set a whole day aside just for herself as a small luxury day to enjoy the little things. She does wash her hair with recycled and filtered grey water and hordes every bar of soap she can find. I also believe new soaps would be made since soap is not a 20th-century invention and she will use it with an unusual mix of plant oils now and then. Angel also will gift her small oils she finds in other cities/settlements outside of the Commonwealth. Sure it wouldn’t be the same as pre-war, a lot of harsh chems, but divas make due! She and Jo set one night a week together to share a bath where they will wash each other’s hair. She’s also not above using water cans that could not be recycled as curlers! note: Val will also re-use grey water from her own hair washing where it’s safe around the house for more cleaning or irrigation.
Angel’s not always on the right track, so diplomacy has never been her first option when put in a tight spot. It’s not always served her well before. If there’s one thing she’s learned, it’s that people always want something, and it’s usually what you have. If violence is probably not an option, she’ll get diplomatic and bargain. Since Lady Luck is generally on her side, it often works out in her favor.

I think he’d get frustrated after learning the very basics but not want to give up because he’s too stubborn. It’d be a test of wills and patience for sure!

She’s always wanted to see the rest of the States, even PreWar. hearing Angel’s stories about New Vegas and California has been a little scary but she still dreams of seeing the West.
