44. Religion?

Ashoken is a creation of the Institute, a godless place if ever there was one. One could say she worshipped Father for a time, but it was a programmed thing. Once she found her sense of self and the capability to bypass the Institute’s programming, she sees Father for what he is. A man collapsing under the weight of his hubris. If Duncan openly practiced a religion, she would ask so many questions, but ultimately conclude that religion is an illogical human institution.
Ashoken and Duncan, who belongs to the superb @charomiami, do some exploration in the Commonwealth.

Well, I couldn’t leave my apocalypse son out! I mess and torture him too much not to give him just one night. @helloaschefire , I will NOT Apologize for the look on Ashoken’s face. Only I know what was just said and nothing can make me change that! I REGRET NOTHING! Except my rushed work. I regret that. But I did 3 full pieces today and this was for me. So it’s okay. It’s perfectly perfect being imperfect… just like Duncan and Ash.Anyways, this is on the roof of the Institute Man House/Settlement overlooking the Harbor/Cove. And the waves and stars were a bitch. I’m done!

“It Was”
Ashoken loves collecting lunchboxes and Duncan goes out of his way to bring back any he comes across that are in good shape, different stickers or paint colours. Duncan spied a nearly pristine one and couldn’t help it. It may have gotten a lil banged up in the fight.
