But yes. Duncan dreams. A lot. It happens with the number of things he’s repressed or keeps under a tight lid. But

Nightmares

are a huge part of those. he’s not a thrasher or sleep talker and refuses to talk about them when he can remember them. If Ashoken is there, she will know as he will pull her to him and probably squeeze her too tightly or uncomfortably. If Ash minds, we may never know really lol.

  • Things he has repeating night thoughts all revolve around the Institute.
  • His mother is a gen 1 singing
  • Father killing an old caretaker synth in front of him to prove they “aren’t real”
  • Being Father
  • Ashoken letting other Synths kill him
  • Being the only thing at all in the Institute and not finding a way out.
  • Finds out he’s a synth because he keeps trying to kill himself but can’t.
