Nikos turns into a ghoul when hes about 30ish because he decided to turn off his Geiger counter while sneaking around, not wanting the sound to give him away. Ended up spending waaay too much time in front of some normal looking barrels that ended up being very very radioactive. Hes just happy to be alive and that he gets to watch his sweet baby boy grow up.
