After 75 years together, Belia could say that she knew Sebastian well. He was very mich a creature of habit, so when he started disappearing after work, it took no time for her to notice. At first she figured he had a new affair, but he was growing more somber by the day. Naturally, she followed him to find out why. Belia found him on the graveyard, cold and stiff as a statue. Staring at the headstones of his wife and daughter. Her heart went out to him. He didn’t resist when she snaked her arms around him, didn’t push her away when she told him how sorry she was. But when she reassured him that she understood, that she would always understand his composure slipped. For the first time, she saw what kind of man he might have been, And she held him as he said his farewells, vowing never to leave.
Based on a dream I had that made me wake up very distressed. Sebastian belongs to @goodboysatan
@eluvisen commissioned a piece for her Fallout Survivor & their spouse: Kaelyn & Nate. I hadn’t done something inspired by the Fallout universe before so this was very fun to compose! Thank you so much for commissioning me!
The one on the left probably sells children into slavery or some shit.
You don’t get so fat as a good person… not in the wasteland
Hi,
fuck you.
Body weight & type is not an indication of a person’s moral standing or an indication of evilness. Irl or in the Wasteland.
Well… no. We are talking about a world where starvation is an actual problem. Thirst as well. Even if that’s supposed to be the sole survivor, she’d loose weight rather rapidly…
Unless offcourse she has a large supply of food that she keeps to herself. That’s kinda evil in a world were people actually starve to death. Like the wasteland of Fallout… or earth of 2018.
In Fallout the supply is offcourse far shorter. And the most memorable fat characters in the series (although he had a lot more mass then this person)
Was a casino owner who qas also into drug dealing and had a gang of rapists and murderers do his dirty work.
You don’t get fat in the wasteland without feasting on the food of people who need it.
Right, I tried to block you but obviously did it on the wrong blog so here you are so let me tell you this:
1) coming to other people’s art of their own characters and making accusations about their character based on their body type is really rude. If you ready wanna talk about the ~moral failings of being fat in the apocalypse~, make your own post instead of doing it like this and leave other people and their characters out of it.
2) making assumptions of people based on their body type in general is ready rude.
3) you really don’t know a single thing about Norma or the Commonwealth she helps build. So again. Don’t make assumptions on my post. Just because a memorable fat character happens to be a villain asshole doesn’t mean that everyone who shares the body type is, jesus christ. Being an asshole makes you kinda evil. Being able to eat well on its own while someone somewhere that you can’t help currently right now can not, does not make you kinda evil. Applies to all body types.
I love the assumption about her being fat is automatically that she must be a selfish bitch who sells kids to slavery in order to be able to be like that and not ‘oh my god she must have worked real hard with the Minutemen and anyone willing to co-operate to make sure she and as many people as possible in the Commonwealth have enough to eat and help to fall on when things go sideways, what a practical & good badass!’ And guess what? Nothing would be different about that if she were skinny, or jacked. She just literally IS fat, and that has nothing to do with her moral standing. Because fat is not an indication of morality.
Norma is fat, and a goddamn good person. If she has moral failings, they have NOTHING to do with her being fat. Be mad about it, but leave me the fuck alone. You can have all the starving sosus you like and believe them morally superior because of it, I’ll be here having fun with my god & kind fat ones without the fatphobia and YOU don’t get to tell me that you think I’m doing it wrong. I’ll repeat: fat is not an indication of evil, in game or in real life. That’s NOT UP FOR ARGUMENT.
Anyway.
Just to add, what i feel is a very important note. It’s a video game, it’s also someone’s character. Fallout doesn’t actually exist, fat people do, and they are allowed to exist in whatever medium they want.
Fat people can exist everywhere, they have in the past and they will in the future. Norma could, excuse the assumption, have PCOS, a hormonal disorder that can cause weight gain.
She could have made a huge farm, and have food in excess, the hard work she put in would make her torso thicc (strongest man/woman comps have men and women with a lot of muscle in their core, as opposed to body builders which has more of a focus on definition and shape.)
There can be any number of reasons, genetic or otherwise that a fat person can exist in a postapoctoliptic setting. You just gotta not be lazy.
Very very good points! Thank you! I won’t be responding to a lot of the replies here but this is an important addition. There ARE a million reasons why a person’s body might look the way it does!!! It’s not all just food! It isn’t in Norma’s case!
